Alienware announces X51 mini-ITX gaming PC, the Alienware X51 ($700) is the company's smallest gaming PC. The X51 is based on a mini-ITX motherboard. Prices start at US $699 and for this you get a Core i3-2120 CPU, 4GB RAM, 1TB hard drive and Nvidia GT 545 graphics card. The cost does not include a keyboard, mouse or even a monitor. Other features included Wi-Fi, HDMI, two SuperSpeed USB 3.0 ports.

As a part time computer builder, this is a horrible deal, very low stats for the price, a computer with those specs should be in the 400-500 range and thats being pre built.

Sure you're saying that if you built your own computer it could be slightly cheaper but what about branding? Its a status symbol to have a pc by Alienware. And what about everyday people who want a small cheap gaming machine and cant build their own? This machine will save the Desktop Gaming PC, id love to a PC built with these same specs, in such a cool case built for less
