Why don't we just become a third world country and live in the forest.

To become a world third country has some importand requirements. You need to be attacked by european smarties and become slave under the european smarties who attack you in order to civilize you for the glory of their Emperror-King-God. Then you must stay uneducated and act like a remote controled car going only forward and backward. The lack of education is essential for your own good (and for not being able to complain or ask for more since you are lucky enough to work all day for 1-2 usd). It is very importand to understand that your ex-territory's grounds need to have diamonds, sapphires, emeralds, natural gas, gold, coal oil and other tasty ingredients like uranium or plutonium. When you achieve all that and loose abnout half of your population from diseases and starvation i am sure that you will allready live in the forest and this house will look like more than a dream... forgive i forgot that you won't have the chance to see this house as there is no internet in the forest and you don't even know what internet is...

I think this thing is pretty awesome. The guy does seem very committed to this project and not just a cheap salesman like most so-called greenies just trying to cashing in. I wonder what his doctorate is for and if there are any conflicting interests. Good to see that this is supposedly scalable to more 'practicable' situations (not just the small proof of principle). I wonder about the investment cost is (carbon and $)

Didn't Dr Mike Page use to be the turtle from Turtle Wax..? *shrugs shoulders* I have studied micro-architecture for many years and this is not a bad example, not bad at all! Congratulations to all those involved in its evolution and good luck with its success.

Looks like a double-wide prison cell.

A great solution for over-crowded trailer parks everywhere! You could fit a lot of these on a double-wide lot, and the feed-in tariff revenue would help pay the lot fees. All you'd need is money for booze, and you're set to retire right out of high school!
